Dedicated to my friends in the Midwest and anyplace this polar vortex has settled. It was one degree when I woke up this morning with no wind. I felt lucky.
FROZEN!
Skin assaulted, lungs burning, body trembles
This really sucks!

21 below zero, 55 with windchill! And I live in the warm part of the state! The cops say, “Minnesota is closed!” š

I don’t remember the date of our coldest day on earth. I do know that was a wednesday. I know we lost power briefly and everything shut down. We broke many weather related records that day

Good grief! And they say there isn’t any climate change. I certainly hope if “warms up” to zero or above fairly soon. It’s supposed to be warmer here tomorrow

I lived in Southern Indiana (Evansville) for almost 4 years. I thought the winters were mild compared to what I was used to. Summers, on the other hand, were brutal. I never lived in a place as hot š„µ and humid as there

I grew up in Michigan and the winters were so much worse than here, but the summers in Michigan were amazing! Indiana winters for me have been easy…………the past few days, not so much!

I knew someone who grew up on the UP. Winters sounded like a real treat up there. Can only imagine what it is like now

Yes, I love the UP but the winters up there start in October………I don’t think I could handle that.
